Dear Sir,

My wife Katharine Hsu and I are at the moment on our British Airways flight returning to the United State. We did not even wait to return home to write to you to comment on our trip.

Iran was even more fascinating and rewarding than we anticipated. For a long time to come we will treasure the memories of the many places we visited. More importantly, we gained a very warm feeling for the Iranian people and for one in particular. It was an honor to travel with Peyman Tahmasian; and my wife and I could not have imagined a more pleasant, intelligent and engaging companion. Our driver, Mojtaba Nourani, also deserves special mention for his warmth and sense of humor.

In all, we commend you for organizing a tremendously enjoyable trip. You have done a great service to your country and we bring home with us the most favorable impressions of Iran. Please extend our best wishes and thanks one again to Mr. Tahmasian. We can only hope that you continue to put your best face forward through him in the future.
